IAN BATEY - LinkedIn
Born, educated and raised his family in Victoria, Ian is serious about professional growth, effective governance practices and the wellbeing of individuals and community. Prior to joining Police Victim Services BC, he was Principal, IPB Consulting, where he provided essential advice to private, public and not-for-profit sector organizations built on enduring relationships, trust and transparency. Ian’s career with the Provincial Government included executive roles in human resource management and employee relations, law enforcement, public gaming and aboriginal relations and reconciliation. He has significant leadership expertise in business, governance, philanthropy, homelessness, affordable housing and major sport events through affiliations with the Institute of Corporate Directors, Greater Victoria Housing Society, Our Place Society and DC Bank PGA Canada Tour Open. His current community involvement includes Board Member of the GV Chamber of Commerce and Victoria Open Golf Society and Member, GV Coalition to End Homelessness Steering Committee. |

FRASER RAMSAY - LinkedIn
Fraser Ramsay is a former major shareholder and Vice President of the Ramsay Group of Companies. During his 35-year tenure with Ramsay Group, Fraser saw the company reach annual sales of over $20 Million with a workforce of over 100 at its peak. Fraser played a major role in the negotiation of contracts with prominent organizations that include BC Ferries, BP Refineries and both the provincial and federal governments. On the volunteer side he has served on the Town of Sidney Community Planning Committee and is a volunteer supporter of both Our Place Society and The Mustard Seed. Fraser feels very fortunate in his own life and is wanting to give back to his community. He became a member of 100 Men Who Care Foundation in 2019 and would like the opportunity to contribute more as a 100 Men Victoria board member. |

MIKE REILLY - LinkedIn
Mike was raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, and graduated from the University of Victoria with a degree in biology. He worked for several years as a habitat consultant for forest companies in the BC Interior but gradually shifted to more IT management as the industry changed. After working as a project manager with a division of Hewlett-Packard, Mike changed careers to become a financial advisor with Freedom 55 Financial. Mike is excited to help his clients achieve peace of mind for themselves and their family’s future. Mike and his wife Karen are busy with six kids, three boys and three girls, ranging from middle school to post graduate students. His non working hours are spent in community volunteering efforts, animal husbandry activities, parenting teenagers and other domestic engineering tasks.
Mike was a founding board member, and is the current Treasurer and Finance Committee lead.

DOUG ROBB - LinkedIn
Doug is the owner of the BarterPay Victoria trade exchange and a principal in MicroCap Media, focussed on retail investor lead generation. An entrepreneur since childhood in Winnipeg, Doug and Janice moved to Vancouver Island 30 years ago and could not imagine a better place to live and raise a family. Now that the kids are essentially grown and on their own, they believes it is time to give more back to the community that so generously invited them in. Family, Hockey, Mountain Biking, and foraging in the coastal rain forest keep Doug happiest in his time off. Doug was a founding board member, and is the current Membership/Outreach Committee lead. |
DARREN WARNER - LinkedIn
Darren's slightly odd accent comes from being raised in England, New Zealand and Toronto. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art & Design, his award-winning advertising and design career encompasses many of Canada's leading brands, creating TV ad campaigns for everything from Cadbury's chocolates to Labatt's beer. Selling coffee & donuts for 6 years as Creative Group Head for Tim Hortons in Toronto led Darren to the west coast in 2005 as creative director at Wasserman & Partners in Vancouver. Darren currently imparts his considerable experience and prolific ideation through his own brand & creative marketing consultancy. He and his family have called Victoria home since 2009. His wife Jenny is a teacher, homeopath, and committed organic gardener, while his two teenagers are competitive swimmers, leaving no time for sleep. Darren was a founding board member, and is the current Marketing/Communications Committee lead. |
